Summer Enrichment Program

The heart of the Morehead-Cain experience is the Summer Enrichment Program—four diverse summers designed to help Morehead-Cain Scholars understand more about the world and how they can make a difference in it. These four experiences—Outdoor Leadership, Public Service, Inquiry and Exploration, and Private Enterprise—provide the framework for scholars to gain independence, global awareness, and hands-on experience.

The generosity and support of Morehead-Cain Alumni and friends of the Foundation provide scholars opportunities to take part in life-altering experiences. Scholars also benefit from a legacy of alumni who are eager to help the next generation of scholars in their journey.

With guidance from Morehead-Cain advisors, scholars tailor their summers to explore and expand their personal and professional interests—wherever in the world those interests take them.
